Violent crimes: 3 charged with armed robbery in Wisconsin

Being accused of involvement in a crime such as armed robbery can be a stressful and daunting experience. Violent crimes of this nature carry serious penalties should a conviction be obtained, and those who face similar charges may find it beneficial to prepare for what comes next by focusing on their defense. Three individuals are facing criminal charges in relation to their alleged involvement in a recent string of armed robberies in Wisconsin.

According to authorities, the charges against each individual stem from an investigation into as many as 10 separate armed robberies. They assert that in each scenario, one man entered a store while wielding a knife, while another waited outside in a vehicle. During the investigation, authorities claim to have obtained video surveillance showing a man exit a vehicle and enter a store during the time of a robbery, and he and the driver of the vehicle were located and arrested soon thereafter.

Authorities have also located another individual who stands accused of providing the man with a ride in exchange for narcotics. They assert that both drivers admitted to having knowledge of the other man’s intent to commit the alleged robberies prior to providing transportation. All three men are facing numerous charges in relation to the investigation, including armed robbery and false imprisonment.

When accused of involvement in violent crimes such as armed robbery, one may find it advisable to seek guidance before responding to the charges against them. By speaking with a defense attorney, a person could obtain some much-needed advice on making informed decisions throughout the process. An attorney in Wisconsin can work toward protecting a client’s legal rights and provide assistance with any future legal proceedings associated with the charges.
