Authorities across the country have put a great deal of time and effort into shutting down illegal drug operations over the years. Investigations into these operations have led to the arrest of countless individuals. A man was recently arrested and accused of multiple drug crimes following the search of a residence in Wisconsin.

Agents from a local drug unit report they executed a search warrant at the residence with the assistance of a K-9 unit. During the search, authorities allegedly uncovered a substantial amount of tetrahydrocannabinol, along with various amounts of drug paraphernalia and weapons. They also claim to have uncovered over $63,000 in cash in the process.

A 25-year-old man was taken into custody following the search. He is facing multiple charges in relation, including possession with intent to deliver, keeper of a drug house and possession of drug paraphernalia. There were no other individuals listed in relation to the search and no indication pertaining to the accused man’s role at the house, whether a resident or visitor.

A conviction for crimes of this nature could have severe consequences, potentially altering a person’s life in various detrimental ways. Individuals who are accused of drug crimes have the right to obtain legal counsel, prompting many of them to seek guidance from a defense attorney. An attorney in Wisconsin can evaluate the charges and evidence against a client, advise him or her of the potential outcomes, and assist in forming a strong defense for use in criminal proceedings.
