3 face charges for drug crimes following search of parked vehicle

On behalf of Kohn Smith Roth | Apr 9, 2017 | Drug Crimes

When an individual is suspected of a crime, accusations alone can have a disastrous effect on his or her life. Facing charges for drug crimes is often challenging, leaving many accused individuals to suffer in various ways. Understanding how to proceed during this period can help a person obtain the best overall outcome given the situation. Three people in Wisconsin may be seeking assistance after they were recently arrested and are now facing multiple drug charges.

Reportedly, police received a call from a local store claiming that a vehicle had been parked nearby for several hours. Upon arrival, authorities claim to have performed a search of the vehicle. They allegedly found various amounts of methamphetamine and marijuana inside, along with other drug paraphernalia. Following the search, police proceeded to locate and arrest three individuals in relation to the incident.

All three of the accused are facing multiple drug-related charges, including possession of methamphetamine. A conviction of this nature is severe, and can have a negative impact on a person’s future in many ways. These individuals may seek to challenge the charges and protect their future, but they may be unsure how to proceed.

A person who is facing charges for drug crimes may find it beneficial to form a strong defense in the early stages of the process. Since this can be complex, many people in Wisconsin speak with an experienced attorney for assistance in navigating the process. A defense attorney can evaluate the search procedure and all evidence against an individual and advise him or her on the best course of action to take.
