Susan M. Roth
Susan is a full partner a Kohn Smith Roth law offices. She graduated from Marquette University Law School in 2007, and has been a member of Kohn Smith Roth since that time. She has practiced criminal defense law exclusively throughout her career and is a veteran litigator having tried many criminal cases and probation revocation hearings. She has handled a wide range of criminal cases including homicides, sexual assaults, drug and gun cases, and other felony and misdemeanor matters. Susan has valuable courtroom and trial experience, and, in addition, practices criminal appellate work.
During law school, Susan was a member of the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office Prosecutor Clinic, a year-long program through the Law School wherein students are allowed to practice in the Milwaukee County Circuit Courts; Susan also worked with Marquette University's Volunteer Legal Clinic, which provides free legal services to those in need in the greater Milwaukee area. Susan gained valuable experience as an intern for a Milwaukee County Judge whose court handled only homicide and sexual assault cases. Prior to attending law school, Susan graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
