Violent crimes: 4 men charged with robbery in Wisconsin

When a person stands accused of involvement in a criminal act, he or she may feel intimidated by the subsequent process. Those who face allegations of violent crimes such as robbery might be unaware of their rights, potentially prompting a need to seek advice from an experienced attorney. Four individuals could be in search of such guidance after they were arrested in connection to a recent robbery in Wisconsin.

The incident is said to have taken place just before 7 p.m. on a recent Friday at a cell phone store. Employees told authorities that the men came into the store wearing masks and gloves and began making demands. According to reports, the men allegedly forced them into a back room and proceeded to take as much as $20,000 worth of cell phones.

Authorities claim they were able to locate the men shortly thereafter due to tracking devices installed within the phones. They assert that two of the men admitted to involvement in the act, while each gave a different response as to why they chose to commit the robbery. All four were taken into custody and each is facing robbery charges, while one of the four also faces charges for threatening another with a firearm.

For those who stand accused of violent crimes of this nature, many may find the criminal justice system to be challenging to navigate. With the potential gravity of a conviction for similar crimes, an individual could find it advisable to seek guidance from a defense attorney early in the process. An attorney in Wisconsin can advise a client of the potential consequences he or she may face and assist in pursuing the best outcome possible during subsequent court proceedings.
