According to reports, the incident began as the man was leaving a motel room on a recent Tuesday. After allegedly informing the officer that he was merely visiting a friend at the motel, the officer allowed him to leave and then proceeded to search the room in question.
During the search, authorities allegedly unearthed the presence of around 4 ounces of marijuana, along with two loaded firearms and an unspecified amount of ammunition. The man was located and arrested soon thereafter and is facing felony drug charges in relation to the incident. Authorities also claim to have uncovered text messages on a phone he was carrying that allegedly indicated his involvement in drug activity.
