1 accused of multiple drug crimes after raid of home near school

Being accused of involvement in drug-related activities during the search of a residence can be a stressful and challenging experience. Should the home be within a short distance of a school, the charges an individual faces may increase in severity. A 35-year-old woman has recently been accused of numerous drug crimes under similar circumstances following the recent raid of a home in Wisconsin.

According to reports, authorities executed a search warrant at the residence in question on a recent Wednesday. Upon arriving at the home, they claim to have found a woman sitting outside, and asked her if there were drugs within the home. She allegedly advised them that there were drugs in her room, and they assert that the search unearthed the presence of numerous types and amounts of narcotics, including as many as 34 grams of methamphetamine.

According to authorities, the search also uncovered multiple types of drug paraphernalia, some of which they say may be used in the growing of psychedelic mushrooms. She was taken into custody soon thereafter, and is facing numerous charges in relation to the incident, including felony possession of methamphetamine. Individuals who face similar charges could choose to prepare for what comes next by focusing on their defense, but the process can be complex.

Being accused of drug crimes of this nature can be an intimidating process. Those who face similar charges could find it advisable to seek assistance from a defense attorney in the early stages of the process. An attorney can thoroughly examine the charges and evidence against a client in Wisconsin and provide advice on the best course of action with which to proceed. If a conviction cannot be avoided, an attorney can assist in pursuing the best outcome possible given the situation.
