Wisconsin man arrested for sexual assaults in haunted house

A 52-year-old Kenosha, Wisconsin, man has been charged with three counts of fourth degree sexual assault. In addition, the man faces charges of disorderly conduct, as well as lewd and lascivious behavior. The charges against the man stemmed from a series of incidents that occurred on Oct. 5 when the man allegedly touched several people inappropriately as they were inside a haunted house.

According to court documents, patrons who were touring the Abandoned Haunted House Complex reported to police that while they were in the haunted house on East Frontage Road, the man had grabbed them inappropriately. Among the complaints against the man included a woman who told police someone had grabbed her buttocks after the person approached her from behind, a man who said that he had been approached from behind and “humped aggressively” for a period of about 10 seconds and a man who stated to police that his head had been grabbed and directed toward the other man’s crotch.

Court records state that all three of the patrons were reportedly later able to identify the man as the alleged person who had committed the acts. If convicted on the sexual assault charges, along with the lewd and lascivious behavior charge, the man could receive up to nine months in jail and receive a $10,000 fine. In addition, he may also face up to 90 days in jail and a fine of a $1,000 for disorderly conduct. He is scheduled to appear for a pretrial conference on Dec. 4.

Defendants who face sexual assault charges may benefit from counsel by an experienced Wisconsin criminal attorney.
