Wisconsin man could face 128 years for sexual assault charges

A 33-year-old man from Kenosha is facing five counts of second degree sexual assault and one account of false imprisonment after his arrest on August 3. The charges against the man stem from a series of incidents in which the man allegedly sexually assaulted four women over a period of approximately two years.

According to court documents, the earliest alleged sexual assault occurred back in September 2012, when the man and a 20-year-old woman reportedly went into an empty classroom at Gateway Technical College so that they could talk. Although the woman kissed him, she reported that when he began to take things too far, she asked him to stop. She stated that she then attempted to leave the room, but he pulled her back in and forced her to perform a sexual act.

In December of 2012, records state a woman filed a sexual assault report against the man, claiming that she had left a bar with him willingly, but that he allegedly drove about a mile down the road and then raped her. After the rape, the woman told police that he drove her back to the bar.

In June 2014, court records indicate that a 51-year-old woman made a report allegedly against the same man, stating that she had initially accepted a ride with him, but that he then drove onto a side street and made her perform a sex act. The final incident in the case reportedly occurred this past July when the man allegedly pulled a 48-year-old woman into his apartment to rape her.

He remains behind bars in Kenosha County Jail on a $50,000 cash bond. If convicted, he could face up to 128 years in prison.

Defendants who are charged with sex crimes could potentially benefit from legal representation provided by an experienced criminal attorney.
