9 face federal drug charges for selling large amounts of heroin

A 35-year-old Antigo man pleaded not guilty on Dec. 11 after Langlade County authorities charged him with offences related to an alleged drug ring. He was indicted by a grand jury to one count of felony conspiracy to distribute controlled substances.

Police take Wisconsin man into custody after smelling marijuana

Police took a man into custody in Racine on Dec. 12 after reportedly smelling marijuana from another vehicle ahead of them in the drive through of a McDonald's. The police charged the 24-year-old with a single count of possession of marijuana.

Investigation leads to conviction for Wisconsin man

Authorities in Wisconsin announced the culmination of prosecution against a 30-year-old man who they allege led a major drug trafficking ring using couriers. The Sheboygan man pleaded guilty to federal drug trafficking charges and was sentenced.

2 women charged with selling heroin that killed man

On Nov. 16, a 20-year-old man from Wisconsin died after allegedly overdosing on heroin. In the aftermath, the Middleton man's 21-year-old ex-girlfriend from Mount Horeb and a 43-year-old woman from Madison were indicted on drug trafficking charges.

Wisconsin man sentenced to 60 months on drug charges

A man was convicted on the charge of aiding and abetting in an attempt to possess cocaine with the intent to distribute. The defendant, along with his brother, had been the subject of an investigation conducted by several cooperating agencies, which resulted in the drug distribution charge. Following the conviction, he was sentenced to 60 months in federal prison.

Owners of Milwaukee auto shop accused of emissions fraud

The owners of a Milwaukee auto repair shop are facing accusations that they charged customers for emission repair work that they did not perform. State officials say they became suspicious of the activities at Aurora Auto Care after security reports generated by their emissions equipment highlighted areas of potential fraud.
