JON'S CELL: Six people were charged this past Tuesday in connection with a Madison, Wisconsin, home invasion that occurred back on Feb. 23, 2014. The arrests stemmed from an incident in which three of the men from the group allegedly broke into what they reportedly thought was a drug house; it turned out to be the wrong place.
According to court documents, police believe the home the men actually wanted to break into was a house that was just down the street. The three supposedly quickly realized their mistake after they had forced their way into the home during the 4 a.m. robbery but then proceeded to beat up the homeowner and his wife. The three men are also charged with the sexually assault of the homeowner’s pregnant wife. Police report that the attack lasted from 40 to 50 minutes. The men then reportedly stole several items from the husband and wife and left.
Police have charged the three men with multiple counts of first-degree sexual assault with a dangerous weapon and armed robbery. The Milwaukee Wisconsin Journal Sentinel also reports that two of the other three people involved in the case have been charged with armed robbery, while the third individual has been charged with harboring a felon and theft. The six men also each face a variety of other charges.
